Спросила меня одна знакомая.
А то! А куда ж деваться-то? Во-первых, мы по дачке скучаем (ну об этом я уже плакалась). Во-вторых, разбор доставшихся в наследство залежей всяких веревочек, непригодных к употреблению... эх, если бы там были просто веревочки, которые можно сложить в столитровый мусорный мешок и тихонечко выбросить в домовой мусорный контейнер... там же крупногабаритное всякое, которое иногда в нашу машину не помещается.... Короче, разбор этого богатства, который мы начала прошлой зимой, был приостановлен летом, потому что летом куда приятнее копаться в огороде или пить пиво на веранде, чем дышать пылью на чердаке.
А тут опять зима, а по дачке скучаешь, и незакрытый гештальт неразобранного чердака и металлолома, сложенного кучей под Сашком, и останков якобы компостных катакомб, сложенных около стены дома, спать не дает.
А еще спать не дает идея фиксе, родившаяся в глубинах подсознания в процессе хвастания дачкой родственникам и знакомым. Ведь какой первый вопрос у гостя? "А ночевать тут можно?". Ну и начинаешь объяснять, что формально нельзя, но все ночуют, но мы не ночуем, потому что тут душа нет, и кровать неудобная, а до дома пятнадцать минут езды.
И вот тут подсознание включилось Так. Без душа летом можно прожить, потому что есть шланг и вода. А вот без удобной кровати, да, в нашем возрасте, уже сложно. Если хочешь на следующий день функционировать, а не ползать. А что нам мешает создать удобное спальное место? А мешают нам диваны, доставшиеся в наследство. Спать на них невозможно, потому что это классическая тройка для гостиной. Не раскладываются, короткие. Только для красоты.
Что нужно сделать, чтобы организовать нормальное спальное место? Правильно, избавится от диванов. А на их место привезти наш заслуженный диван, когда доставшийся нам вместе с квартирой в Хайдельберге. Диван, который легко раскладывается в двухспальное место. Диван, который был не один раз помечен нашим младшим ребенком, ходившим дома без памперсов с целью экономии, проветривания тех самых мест и воспитания. Диван, который я в ковидлу, когда нечем больше было заняться, решила перетянуть, но не нашла мастерскую, а потом обнаружила, что обивка-то на молнии и ее можно снять и постирать. И я таки ее сняла и постирала и даже пыталась покрасить в кардинально чОрный цвет, но не Шмогла. Диван, который сейчас стоит в нашей спальне\студии\кладовке\мужниной рабочей комнате под крышей и покрыт ковром, привезенным из Грузии.
Но сначала нужно избавится от наследственных диванов. Которые уж точно не влезают в нашу машину. В помощь бы призван друг-товарищ, обладатель транспортера и вообще очень смекалистый и поднаторевший в перевозках\переездах человек. Все получилось не сразу. Друг - человек занятой ибо не только нам нужно что-то куда-то перевезти. А тут снег идет, не спрашивая про наши планы. Но наконец звезды сошлись, и снег сошел, и друг-человек смог. И вывезли мы эти злосчастные диваны. И заодно кучу другого металлического мусора.
И чердак почти разобрали. Остались там только доски (много, еще один домик пана Тыквы можно построить) и ламинат, который пану Тыкве не нужен, но сил на него уже не осталось. Главное, что теперь по чердаку можно перемещаться. Нет, не ходить, там и высота, и конструкция такая, что ходить там сложно. Но доползти до окон или проблемных мест уже можно. А раньше было вообще нельзя.
Вот, последняя партия ждет вывоза на свалку
Кровать, которая там на заднем плане оказалась не кровать. А мы на нее слегка надеялись. Если бы она вдруг оказалась нормальной кроватью, нам не пришлось бы тащить наш любимый диван. Но кровать оказалась не кроватью, подушки ейные (подушки, пуфики, не знаю как их назвать, но точно не матрасы) пока оставили, но первое тестирование показало, что не оно, не пойдет как спальное место. Пока сложили стопкой в "гостиной", а каркас вывезем. И это будет последний наш визит на место приема мусора в ближайшее время (мироздание, ведь правда же? ну пожалуйста!)
Зато откопали два ватных одеяла в отличном состоянии и такого размера, что не влезли в стиральную машину. Вот ведь умели раньше делать вещи, не то, что нынешние синтепоновые, которые без всякой головной боли просто взял, раз, и постирал в обычной машинке. Эти пришлось везти в химчистку\прачечную.
И вот ведь в чем ирония судьбы. Двадцать пять лет мы жили в одном доме с химчисткой/прачечной. Пользовались ею редко, но пользовались. И это было очень удобно. А тут раз и нам понадобилась химчистка\прачечная, а она, такая раз - и съехала в декабре, напоследок залив нам клетушку в подвале.
Итого.
- чердак почти разобран
- мусор вывезен (осталась одна кроватная рама, но она даже не стоит упоминания)
- плацдарм для летних ночевок на даче подготовлен (диван перевезем ближе к сезону)
Вереди.
- закончить с расчисткой старого компоста и замостить там наконец нормальную площадку для гриля и тому подобное
- перед тем как ставить садовый камин и другие грильные приблуды спустить с чердака доски и обшить стену, чтобы сделать нам всем красиво
- спилить у Грунечки прогнившую верхушку, которая сейчас закрыта целлофаном на проволочке, накрыть дыру фанерой, на которую установить либо скворечник, либо совятник (и пусть совы там поселяться только через год)
- выкопать остатки малины, которую мы не хотим, и, заодно, урожай кирпичей и плит, проложенных там давным давно и ушедших в землю
- посадить шелковицу (и пусть она когда-нибудь, когда нас уже не будет, вырастет большая пребольшая)
- посадить дальневосточный рододендрон, тот что в Москве ранней весной продавали как багульник, его надо было поставить в воду и он расцветал розовыми цветами
- посадить алычу, чтобы когда-нибудь собрать урожай и приготовить ткемали
ну и так далее. Ну вы поняли.

суровые русские иммигранты

Я б тут спросил, а хер ли вы сами-то съебали, а не complied, или что, вы по СССР заскучали, когда он "развалился"? Хер их знает; а может быть, эти люди в маразм уже впали, а мы теребим, теребим...
Конечно, разговаривать с ними нет смысла; это, кажется, те же самые люди, которые, лет 20 назад учили понаехов, что нельзя заводить кредитные карточки, потому что банки облапошат, и нельзя покупать дом, потому что на моргидж все деньги уйдут. Потом эти придурки позатихли, и, наверно, сидят уже на своей social security, посасывают лапу - но тут ишь! Леваки начинают своё мнение высказывать! Нельзя!
Я таких мудаков ещё в СССР на самом деле наслушался. Когда на всякое полусвободное слово была дружная партийная реакция: "это антисоветчина!!!"
Короче, надо понимать, что это за кадры.

* I had food poisoning, but have recovered. It's been so cold here I had to scrape my car for a library run a little before ten the other day. I hope my perennials survive, as it usually isn't this kind of prolonged cold here in our weird little micro-climate.
Monday, I had the dentist. I cleverly left a lot of extra time to scrape as it was extremely cold all night still, but it wasn't as bad, particularly inside the windows, so possibly I am making headway on the damage from the incompetent thieves letting it rain inside the car. (It is way harder to get the inside ice off).
It seems the fillings that crumbled during the trying to weather strip the window in the rain emergency aren't high risk for real damage, though they do need mending, which is scheduled. I've a not covered previously scheduled cleaning coming up. February is going to be a bear financially for all the usual reasons, but that's a next month problem and I'm in the danger zone on my teeth now. (My dad's family had genetically bad teeth caused by naturally thin enamel, plus he and my mom had bad born during WWII teeth which is a thing caused by uneven nutrition due to shortages in an era before fluoride). I've seen how bad and labour intensive Periodontal disease can get in my dad's case. (Yes we all brushed and flossed and got regular check ups and cleaning, but I basically couldn't afford it after the one poverty place closed for half a decade as an adult before poverty clinic opened to all their medical patients, and my teeth have never really recovered). so I need to cover sliding scale cleaning, plus housing tax, plus car tax, which usually is January, but the bill is late. I am fascinated to see how I juggle it all.
My sliding scale lapsed, so I drove home and got the essential paper to make that happen, got gas, then drove back to turn it in, dropped off the weekend library books as it's right there, stopped at the pharmacy. I dragged home bedraggled and exhausted and over heated as I was dressed for the finger freezing cold of morning, but the cold font noticeably moved on between 8 and 9AM. Finally.
I should definitely not been spending money, but I gave in and bought a thing I'm hoping will help with the inside the car damp on the way home because it's really concerning and interfering with safe driving. We'll see.
Physio is still hogging all the spoons, so if I have to do anything much else it really lays me up. Between assorted errands and food poisoning and having to function outside in the cold, I just keep falling asleep and needing to lie still a lot when awake. Hence me not managing a Monday aggregate and the now massive backlog of news I didn't get to last week. Sorry.

* I had food poisoning, but have recovered. It's been so cold here I had to scrape my car for a library run a little before ten the other day. I hope my perennials survive, as it usually isn't this kind of prolonged cold here in our weird little micro-climate.
Monday, I had the dentist. I cleverly left a lot of extra time to scrape as it was extremely cold all night still, but it wasn't as bad, particularly inside the windows, so possibly I am making headway on the damage from the incompetent thieves letting it rain inside the car. (It is way harder to get the inside ice off).
It seems the fillings that crumbled during the trying to weather strip the window in the rain emergency aren't high risk for real damage, though they do need mending, which is scheduled. I've a not covered previously scheduled cleaning coming up. February is going to be a bear financially for all the usual reasons, but that's a next month problem and I'm in the danger zone on my teeth now. (My dad's family had genetically bad teeth caused by naturally thin enamel, plus he and my mom had bad born during WWII teeth which is a thing caused by uneven nutrition due to shortages in an era before fluoride). I've seen how bad and labour intensive Periodontal disease can get in my dad's case. (Yes we all brushed and flossed and got regular check ups and cleaning, but I basically couldn't afford it after the one poverty place closed for half a decade as an adult before poverty clinic opened to all their medical patients, and my teeth have never really recovered). so I need to cover sliding scale cleaning, plus housing tax, plus car tax, which usually is January, but the bill is late. I am fascinated to see how I juggle it all.
My sliding scale lapsed, so I drove home and got the essential paper to make that happen, got gas, then drove back to turn it in, dropped off the weekend library books as it's right there, stopped at the pharmacy. I dragged home bedraggled and exhausted and over heated as I was dressed for the finger freezing cold of morning, but the cold font noticeably moved on between 8 and 9AM. Finally.
I should definitely not been spending money, but I gave in and bought a thing I'm hoping will help with the inside the car damp on the way home because it's really concerning and interfering with safe driving. We'll see.
Physio is still hogging all the spoons, so if I have to do anything much else it really lays me up. Between assorted errands and food poisoning and having to function outside in the cold, I just keep falling asleep and needing to lie still a lot when awake. Hence me not managing a Monday aggregate and the now massive backlog of news I didn't get to last week. Sorry.

Jan. 27th, 2026 05:23 pmryjii_kotИду я по малолюдной маленькой улочке и тут вижу лежит кусок лосося. Без упаковки, без обертки или кулечка, просто кусок лосося. И это странно, мало кто просто так носит кусок рыбы. И подумалось мне, что это кто-то мог специально оставить отравленный кусок лосося для бездомных котиков. ХЗ, а может кто-то и правда потерял, может из окна выпал, а может и действительно отравлен, в общем, лучше убрать. Городок у нас тихий, дружелюбный, но случаи отравления котиков были.
Достала кучу бумажных носовых платков, звернула рыбу и пошла выкидывать. Топать с рыбой в руках пришлось метров 500. Ладно, но дальше мне в супермаркет-то, а что это за лосось ХЗ, надо помыть руки.
Захожу в супермаркет, иду к туалету, а он закрыт. Тут подходит пожилая пара и синьора говорит:
- Тут закрыто. Вход через бар, сканируешь там чек и попадешь в туалет.
- А у вас есть чек? Мне срочно надо помыть руки.
- 👀👀 ????
- Понимаете, я нашла на улице кусок лосося. Мне кажется он отравлен и оставлен для бродячих котиков. Я его выкинула, но мне надо помыть руки, я не могу так идти делать покупки.
Не знаю приняли ли они меня за сумасшедшую, но дверь в туалет открыли.

Jan. 27th, 2026 11:05 amnlothikКрайне интересно наблюдать реакцию Демократической партии, которая десятилетиями последовательно выступала за запреты гражданского оружия.
Но как только выясняется, что среди демократов законных владельцев оружия — навалом, и случается Алекс Преети, начинается красивое переобувание в прыжке. Те же самые люди, которые ещё вчера объясняли, что Вторая поправка — устаревший атавизм и «проблема культуры», внезапно начинают её защищать. Оказывается, речь вообще-то была не про реднеков, а про права.
О чём, к слову, в нашей стенгазете говорилось уже сто раз.
Вторая поправка ведь писалась не для стрельбы по баночкам из-под колы и не для фоточек в ин-сто-грамме. В ней прямо говорится о security того самого free state — то есть о пределе власти и о том, что государство не имеет монополии на насилие, когда само начинает его применять.
Запретители — вы реально только сейчас поняли, про что вообще Вторая поправка? И почему она про права, точно такие же, как и в других поправках — свободу слова, религии, недопустимость несанкционированных обысков? Ну, блин, лучше поздно, чем никогда, конечно.
Но если дело действительно доходит именно до защиты security того самого free state — от произвола, от силовых структур, которые должны защищать, а не стрелять, — то как это вообще сподручнее делать на практике?
С полуавтоматической винтовкой типа AR/AK — али с голой жопой?
